"The Fault in Our Stars" is a novel written by John Green. This novel was turned into a movie a couple of years later. The movie is about Hazel and Gus, the main characters who meet at a cancer support group and fall in love. This movie shares many themes with Romeo and Juliet.
Both stories are about young couples who fall in love, and in both cases, the love is destined to end in tragedy. In Romeo and Juliet, the couple comes from feuding families, and their love is forbidden because of this. In" The Fault in Our Stars" Hazel, and Gus both have cancer and know from the start that they will most likely die. Regarding the consequences of the love, both couples continue to fall in love and disregard their tragic outcome. The characters face many problems that keep them from being together in both Romeo and Juliet and The Fault in Our Stars.

Twilight is a novel written by Stephanie Meyer that was also turned into a movie. It is about the relationship between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. Twilight and Romeo and Juliet share similarities in their themes. They both explore forbidden love, passion, and sacrifice.
Twilight and Romeo and Juliet are about a forbidden love story. In Romeo and Juliet, the lovers come from feuding families, and their love is forbidden due to the separation between the Montagues and the Capulets. In Twilight Bella and Edward's love faces obstacles due to their different species. Bella is human while Edward is a vampire.
There is passionate love between the main characters in both love stories, and they are both willing to take huge risks and sacrifices to keep their relationship. Romeo and Juliet are willing to go against their families which leads to their deaths at the end of their tragic love story. Similarly, Bella is willing to leave behind her human life and risk her own safety to be with Edward, and Edward makes sacrifices to protect Bella from the dangers of his vampire world.
